Essential Pain Management (EPM) Program

Focuses on Pharmacological Management of Pain. Pain assessment and management are essential skills for nurses in any setting. EPM aims to equip nurses with foundational knowledge and skills for pain management, applying a palliative care approach in practice.

Advanced Palliative Practice Skills (APPS) Program

An educational opportunity for Personal Support Workers (PSWs), Health Care Aides and Hospice Volunteers who are graduates of the Core Fundamentals of Hospice Palliative Care Program and who are currently working or volunteering in palliative care.

Learning Essential Approaches in Palliative Care (LEAP) Program

Offers courses designed to equip healthcare professionals with essential skills for effective palliative care. Created by Pallium Canada, these courses focus on communication, symptom management, ethical decision-making, and support for patients and families dealing with life-limiting illnesses.
